RAS Records proudly presents the return of Augustus Pablo, with Valley of
Jehosaphat, a welcome album of his first recordings in many years. With his melodica playing, which many consider to be the best in the world, and his keyboard playing, Augustus Pablo first gained recognition in the 70s with his distinct dub, and his recognizable "eastern" sounding musical style. He also spent much of his musical career in collaboration with such prolific artists such as Lee Perry, Jacob Miller, Junior Delgado, Hugh
Mundell, Dennis Brown, and many others. This characteristic musician continues his high standards of roots music with Valley of
Jehosaphat, a record which also includes Earl Chinna Smith on rhythm guitar, percussionist
Skully, and a host of other well renowned musicians.
