As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth of Bob Marley, I find that
this album is necessary, putting the emphasis on Bob Marley, based on the
existence of him and his works-as he said "You go tired fe see me face,
cause you can't get me out of the place.' And he has proven that, because
everyday we here more and more of Bob Marley. People are inquiring about
him, especially in this new generation which is becoming conscious and aware
because of Bob Marley. So I have made this emphasis by making sure that as lomg
as creation exists, this fifty-track album will be seen as one statement that
was made as it concerns the elaboration and celebration of his 50th
anniversary. (Roger Steffens)
