The GLADIATORS have been masters of the reggae arena since 1965. Group leader Albert Griffiths, known for his work at the legendary Studio One with artists like Ethiopians, Burning Spear, Mighty Diamonds and John Holt, lead the band to many hits in the late 1960s, including "Hello Carol," "Bongo Red," and "Roots Natty." They remain one of the most influential reggae groups of the past 30 years.

Gladiators return in 2005 with the fresh new “Father And Sons” album, recorded at Anchor studios in Jamaica. Faithful to his roots compositions, Albert Griffiths delivers reggae massive full of heart, force, and courage.  Featuring Albert Griffiths’ two sons, Anthony and Al, “Father And Sons” is a gripping reflection on life, love and faith.
