One of Reggae
music’s legendary and best selling acts returns with their
first studio album since 1997. Following in the outspoken, politically
charged manner of their past releases such as True Democracy (1982), Earth
Crisis (1984) and the Grammy Award winning Babylon The Bandit (1985),
African Holocaust marks the return of one of the most conscious and
important voices in music. This album maintains the original line-up of
David Hinds, Selwyn Brown, and Steve Nisbett. Live on stage, the band
comprises nine members, and they will undertake extensive touring on
behalf of this release.
"African
Holocaust encompasses all dimensions of the plight of the black Diaspora
ranging from slavery right up to this present time of physical and
psychological genocide."
- David Hinds
